The Gables

The Gables is a specialist residential home for up to 7 adults with learning disabilities who may also have additional complex needs. The Gables provides a longer term placement for adults who require a supportive home, with round the clock care.

The Gables has 7 bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and furbished to a high standard. Residents at The Gables are encouraged to personalise their bedroom to their own taste.

All the residents at The Gables are supported in using the kitchen to prepare food and there is a large communal living and dining room for residents use. There is a large, enclosed garden for residents to use.

The Gables is situated in Colchester which is Britain's oldest recorded town. Colchester is a thriving, modern town with many great attractions including Colchester Zoo and Colchester Castle Museum. Colchester has excellent shopping facilities and many amenities for residents. The coast is a short drive away and London is accessible by regular rail links with journeys taking under an hour.
