The Cambian Churchill has been transformed into a state of the art mental health rehabilitation hospital.The Cambian Churchill has the environment, clinical approach and therapeutic interventions that will ensure the sustainable recovery for the men who come into our care.
Our person centric approach to mental health rehabilitation is supported through our Active Care programme. Active Care can define and set step-by-step objectives that cross all areas of an individual’s psychological and behavioural development. The model embraces a wide range of specific activities from foundational daily living skills to progressive community-based outcomes.
This facility supports three individual floors each featuring en-suite bedrooms, living areas and TV lounges. The shared therapy piazza includes, activity rooms, music room, a barber shop, gym, internet café, therapy kitchens, dining room and therapy garden. The building has been designed with rehabilitation in mind, allowing a dynamic flow for patients and easy access to the MDT.
At the Cambian Churchill we have created exceptional spaces that aid in the overall rehabilitation of the people in our care. From the high specification of every en-suite bedroom to the spacious communal
areas, we have developed an environment that is first in class to promote long-term recovery.
The Cambian Churchill is set in Central London, minutes walk from Waterloo mainline station. The hospital can be accessed from all mainline stations and is located close to Lambeth North tube station, Bakerloo line. Individuals will be able to benefit from an extensive range of community-based activities as part of their rehabilitation programme. In addition, they will use local facilities to develop social interaction
and integration skills.
