Two step-down houses nearby where a small number of men, still supported but with increasing levels of independence, readjust to life in the community prior to more complete reintegration.

Dedicated clinical teams provide a multi-disciplinary input including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and vocational training. We place great emphasis on social inclusion and integration. We pride ourselves on the support we provide, not only for the people in our care, but their families and carers as well.

Located in the village of Langwith, The Limes is an ideal place for the people in our care to develop life skills as a prelude to their goal of independent or supported living in the community.

The village itself has shops, including a pharmacy, a community and village hall and a mobile library. Other facilities provide opportunities for leisure activities; allotments, parks, heritage sites, leisure centres and fishing ponds. Colleges for further education and religious centres, including mosques, are within easy travelling distance.

Public transport is readily available to use for ‘travel training.’ Buses and trains allow access to nearby towns such as Mansfield and Worksop, and to the cities of Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield, with all the amenities they have to offer.
