Recently purpose-built, the building has been designed with focus on space, personal privacy and dignity. It provides a safe and comfortable environment to allow the women in our care to rebuild their living and vocational skills on the road to recovery, ready to regain their place in the community.

Every spacious bedroom has en-suite facilities and the hospital offers a beauty salon, an Internet café, a multi-faith room and a family room. There are two lounges, a kitchen for cookery skills training and a large occupational therapy activities room with gym facilities.

Dedicated clinical teams provide a multi-disciplinary input including occupational therapy, psychology, nursing, medical and vocational training. The hospital benefits from independent advocacy input as well as the involvement of several external specialists and clinicians.

Delfryn Lodge has a huge landscaped garden with beautiful views to the mountains. While safely enclosed, there is still a great sense of space and freedom.

When the time is right, access to the local community is an essential step along the pathway to independence, for both leisure pursuits and for social training such as shopping and using public transport. While so close to the countryside, Delfryn Lodge is only a 10-minute walk away from shops and local amenities.

It lies on the outskirts of Mold, a small market town, and only half an hour from both Chester and Wrexham, with all the facilities these towns have to offer. Loggerheads Country Park and Moel Famau mountain, are local beauty spots, wonderful places to experience the natural environment.
