Training in earnest for Project Braveheart!

Staff and students at Southlands School have been busy training for their next big adventure: Project Braveheart, which kicks-off on 7 July.

Training has so far involved cycle rides, hill walking and undertaking a British Canoe Union 1 Star course. All the students passed with flying colours.

Andrew Simmons, Deputy Head at Southlands, said: "With support from fellow participants, colleagues, friends and families the total raised for Cancer Research UK through our JustGiving website (www.justgiving.com/southlandsprojectbraveheart2014) currently stands at £664.00. A fantastic result and we hope to raise a lot more during the event."
