In order to support Local Authorities, and other professionals concerned with schooling for young people with ASD, we have a dedicated team of education placement coordinators.

In the first instance, the coordinators will engage in informal discussion about the requirements for a particular student.

The team prides itself on its rapid assessment capability. On receipt of papers, within 48 hours the LA will be informed whether or not a Cambian placement could be appropriate. Final assessment takes place within 7 days of that confirmation.

If a Cambian Group placement is not deemed suitable for a potential student, then the Education Coordinators can offer suggestions for alternative provision with other establishments.
