“Vocational opportunities, work experience, careers education and guidance, and mainstream college access are a strong element of our Post-16 provision.”
A 38 week mixed gender residential house for 8 young people aged 16-19 years who have Asperger syndrome, ADHD, Tourette’s syndrome and similar conditions.
Nearby Grateley House School offers school provision for younger students.
At Stratford Lodge, we offer further educational opportunities for students unable to access mainstream education after completion of their compulsory schooling.
We have a range of individually tailored courses and activities. Our location in Salisbury, allows us ready access to a cathedral city, where essential living skills can be developed - travel training, community awareness, work experience and sport and leisure activities.
We enable students to access a local college to gain nationally-recognised qualifications. At the same time, we encourage independence and the motivation to take greater responsibility for actions and decisions.
All our work is supported by a dedicated team of specialists, including Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, a paediatrician, dietician and physiotherapist.
We prepare students for adulthood, by giving them the necessary life skills and the confidence they might have lacked prior to joining us.
A Parent Liaison Officer is available to discuss, in confidence, a student’s specific needs and we are delighted to help with any questions or to arrange a visit to the house.
