A 38 and 52 week mixed-gender residential school for students aged 9-19 with a diagnosis of autism, or whose difficulties place them on the autistic continuum. Day provision is available for students who live close by.

Our students often have complex needs, learning difficulties associated with autism and challenging behaviour. The schools location in the seaside town of Swanage ensures that integration into the community is a part of daily life. Students have access to all the local amenities, the beautiful Purbeck Hills and coastline trails.

Admission can take place at any time during the school year. We believe that children with ASD do not progress and develop if left alone. Only with consistent, appropriate intervention will they learn the skills necessary to achieve their potential in later life.

We offer access to the National Curriculum using modified or differentiated programmes of study where appropriate. In addition we provide vocational training and further education opportunities. Drawing upon our proven expertise in specialist education and 24-hour care, we focus on the development of personal, social, communication and living skills. Multi-disciplinary teams and high staff ratios ensure intensive individual support.

Everything we do is supported by a wide range of clinical and therapeutic inputs including:

• Music Therapy
