We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to take on the senior role of Clinical Lead for our very successful Complex Trauma Service.
You will be responsible for the effective working of an existing multi-disciplinary team, which consists of a creative therapists, occupational therapy and assistant psychologists.
Your role will be to lead the team on offering both direct and indirect clinical input to children in care. This will include designing and offering bespoke training packages for staff, screening potential referrals, supporting care homes with young people who present with challenging behaviour and supporting staff with 1-1 supervision and reflective practice groups.
Alongside this, you will be responsible for leading the service on evidence-based practice for supporting children in care who have experienced adverse childhood experiences.
You will have the ability to work with a range of staff teams to best support our young people and have the ability to create close working relationships with care home managers and head teachers.
As part of this senior role you will be expected to lead, manage and supervise the clinical team to ensure they are providing the best possible clinical input to care homes, schools and most importantly the young person.
Previous experience of working with child mental health and or children in care would be advantageous.
