Salary: Up to £33,176 depending on experience
Permanent: Full time, 52 weeks of the year (Flexible working options will be consider term time,part time)

The Cambian Group, the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated, caring individual to join the company as a Specialist Occupational Therapist. Cambian Lufton College provides specialist further education services in the South West, offering day and 38-week residential placements (with options to extend to 52 weeks) for young people aged 16 to 25 with a learning disability and complex needs.
You will work alongside a full multidisciplinary team including clinicians, care and Education staff. You will have opportunities to be part of the provision development and contribute to the improvement Occupational Therapy service.
Working autonomously, you will provide quality assessments, reports and needs led interventions for young people and work with the school staff to embed sensory strategies across the environment.
Previous experience in working with ASD and Learning disabilities with children & young people is required and formal qualifications in Sensory Integration is welcomed. Experience in providing supervision, staff consultation and training is required.
Taking a “hands-on” approach it is essential that you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills. You must have excellent organisational and time management skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, forward-thinking Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our friendly team.
- Experience working with ASD client group
- CAMHS experience preferred
- A degree or a post-graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and RCOT
