Stratford Lodge

Stratford Lodge is a 38-week CQC registered residential provision for nine young people aged 16-19 years who have Asperger syndrome, ADHD, Tourette’s syndrome and similar conditions.

At Stratford Lodge, we offer further educational opportunities for students unable to access mainstream education after completion of their compulsory schooling. We have a range of individually tailored courses and activities. Our location in Salisbury allows us ready access to a cathedral city, where essential living skills can be developed such as travel training, community awareness, work experience and sport and leisure activities.

The curriculum is tailored to individual needs and it is supported by Individual Education Plans (IEPs). These plans allow each student to have access to a challenging, broad, relevant and differentiated curriculum that is designed to be Asperger’s Syndrome friendly. Importantly, they form the basis of the four-way partnership between the student, school, family and local authority.

We enable students to access a local college to gain nationally-recognised qualifications. At the same time, we encourage independence and the motivation to take greater responsibility for actions and decisions.

We prepare our students for adulthood, by giving them the necessary life skills and the confidence they may have lacked prior to joining Cambian.

Stratford Lodge is the post-16 provision for Grateley House School.
