Conifers is the group’s first ever respite care provision and will provide a real benefit for carers and parents, while creating a seamless transition for people who rely on strong routine and structure in their daily routine.
Located in Borrowash, Derby, Conifers is situated in a quiet suburban environment and offers all the high-quality expertise that you would expect from any Cambian service.
It also provides an innovative hotel-style booking service, with a quick and easy-to-use online portal to book placements and to instantly view vacancies up to 12 months in advance.
For the service user, Conifers offers a 24-hour-a-day, high-quality care service where guests can feel relaxed in a calm and modern, activity-driven environment. With an ethos of fun and friendship, Conifers provides a valuable opportunity for service users to keep-up with their care pathway and treatment programmes, without the stress and anxiety of leaving the heavily structured routine of a full-time care environment.
Our work is also vital for parents and family carers who otherwise would not be able to organise personal time off for themselves. It allows them the personal time they need to go on holiday or take time off, happy in the knowledge that the care receiver is safe and having fun on their own holiday.
