At Spring Hill School, we are committed to nurturing confident, well-rounded children and young people through inspiring, meaningful and carefully planned learning experiences. Our curriculum, rooted in the National Curriculum but enriched far beyond it, provides each class with engaging themes, essential knowledge and practical skills tailored to their stage of learning.
Our aim is to deliver a curriculum that:
- Enables every child to make exceptional progress
- Offers equal opportunities and access for all learners
- Ignites curiosity, motivation and a love of learning
- Develops responsible, thoughtful and compassionate citizens
- Prepares children to thrive in an increasingly digital world
- Promotes healthy, active and balanced lifestyles
We are proud to offer a highly inclusive and supportive learning environment where pupils feel happy, valued and excited about their education. Children and young people with a range of abilities are encouraged and enabled to reach their full potential. Our most able learners are stretched through deeper, challenging tasks, while those who need additional support receive personalised guidance, targeted interventions and learning approaches that suit their individual needs and pace.
We also place strong emphasis on Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) and independence education and support, believing it plays a vital role in helping our students understand themselves, others and the wider world. Through PSHE and personalised support, pupils gain new perspectives, develop cultural awareness and strengthen empathy, tolerance and respect. This learning underpins our wider commitment to safeguarding pupils and supporting their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development and aligns with our SpringHillSPIRIT.
