In Dunbroch School we know that reading and books are so important, we decided to build a book tree!
It was very last minute to build the tree, we asked the local community of they would donate books (you need at least 190 books!!). A day later we had to start turning down books we have been offered that many!
Luckily there was a number of people who donated their books to the school. It might have taken a few tried to get the tree too work. I think it was try number 5 when everyone was finely happy with how it looked.
We added lights that had been donated by one of the support staff on site.
After Christmas the books will either be added to the school library or donated to be loved by a new owner.
