everyone has a personal best
Cambian’s Grateley House School recently invited family and friends to help celebrate a great year for the school at its annual graduation and celebration day.
The event rewards students for their hard work throughout the year and saw a number of them collect awards for outstanding achievement in their academic and personal lives.
The top award of the day was the Cambian Award, which was presented to a student who had shown consistent progress over several years. This year the accolade went to Aiden, which Jeremy Wiles, Group Business Development Director, and Head Sue King presented to him [pictured].
George, pictured with Kevin Rowbottom, gave a short speech about his time at the school and said: “A simple word but one I've seen coming for nearly six years. I stand here today happier, more confident and excited for my future. I have been through good times, many bad times, but never boring times. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all those that have helped me, and have seen me for who I really am. I would also like to thank my family for their continued support. It's been emotional, but life is too short to have regrets because tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life. So thank you, good luck and goodbye.”
