11.02.2026

Seventeen years after beginning his career as a Teaching Assistant at The Forum School, former TA Matt Robson returned this week in a new role, delivering specialist staff‑training and professional development.

What made the moment particularly special was the opportunity for him to deliver training to Becky, the colleague who once mentored him during his early days at The Forum. Reflecting on the experience, he described it as “a unique full‑circle moment,” noting how formative his time at the school had been in shaping the educator and leader he is today.

The training session, attended by five staff members, received highly positive feedback, with both participants and the session observer praising the quality of discussion and the practical insight he brought to the course.

Speaking about his return, Matt said he how proud he is to share his journey, celebrating where it all began and how his early experiences shaped his journey. Matt went on to express his gratitude for the support he received throughout his early career at The Forum.

His journey is a testament to the impact of meaningful mentoring, hands‑on experience, and opportunities for progression reminding us how the right start can shape a whole future.
