Our Art and Pottery students have been exploring the pottery wheel, enjoying not just the art of shaping clay but also the amazing sensory experience it provides. Working with clay is very hands-on and calming, helping students feel relaxed and creative.
As they learn to throw pots, they are building important skills like eye-hand coordination, focus, and stronger fine motor control, all needed to create beautiful shapes on the wheel.
It’s great to see how pottery brings everyone together, encouraging patience and mindfulness while celebrating the importance of hands-on learning. Great fun!
