This June we held our very first Tyldesley Leavers Festival to celebrate our Year 11s’ hard work and determination over the exam period.
The students organised this and with the help of staff they devised a plan and suggested what they would like at the festival. Together they pulled off an amazing day full of music, fun, food and glitter!
The school yard was transformed and our resident DJ- DJ Burnsey, provided the tunes to keep us dancing all day. Jon cooked up a storm on the barbecue and Kanisha and Katie did an amazing job at festival hair!
Everyone at the school came together for our wonderful year elevens! The festival was that much of a hit we now have a new Tyldesley tradition and will celebrate our amazing students in style every year!
It may be the end of an era for them but we sure have sent them on their way to college in style!
