Lessons on the beach harnesses the magic of the ocean and the charm of coastal environments to inspire curiosity, creativity and to connect with nature.
Our younger pupils spent a morning at Filey beach, they spent some time looking for fossils and learning about how they are formed and how old they can really be!
Pupils also looked out for wildlife and spotted seabirds and dolphins, they learnt about how dolphins live in the ocean and migrate seasonally to find more food and warmer waters.
The weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the change of learning environment.
