To celebrate 80 years since the end of World War 2, students took part in a variety of different VE Day activities.

In the morning students made delicious butterfly buns decorated in red, white and blue.

There was a competition for the best designed medal during the arts and crafts activity and we had some amazing entries.

At lunchtime the dining room was decorated with British flags and a traditional afternoon tea party was served.

Students also learnt about all the events leading up to and including VE Day alongside how the day marks the official surrender of all German military operations.
