Outstanding Transition Support at Brookview

I first met with staff at Brookview in February 2025 when trying to find a suitable placement for a young person within my care.

This was not going to be a easy placement to find as the young person required specific care and the attachment I have with the young person meant I would want only the best. From the first 15 minutes of staff taking the time to show me around your services (school and homes) I knew we had found the right placement.

The staff were all friendly, welcoming, open and transparent. The staff I met showed passion for their role by how they spoke about the service and the young people already in their care. During the course of planning and implementing this transition, Brookview has ensured that the needs of my young person is at the centre of everything i.e. such as coming to visit him on numerous occasions, listening to both parent views and my views and changing plans to meet our requests, spending time with the young person and building bonds.

It is so reassuring to know my young person will be with carers that display a high level of care, security, and professionalism, while ensuring that individuals are treated with dignity and respect. I whole heartly believe my young person will thrive during their time at Brookview.
