There’s something exciting sprouting up at Brook View School!
Over the summer, we’ve had brand-new raised bedding boxes and a shiny new polytunnel built on site and our learners can’t wait to get their hands dirty.
As part of our curriculum, pupils will be planting, growing, and harvesting a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
This new space will give children the opportunity to learn where their food comes from, develop practical life skills, and experience the joy of nurturing something from the ground up.
Alongside the health benefits of fresh produce, the project also encourages teamwork, responsibility, and plenty of outdoor fun.
