At Devon School, we promote an inclusive environment where we celebrate equality and diversity. As part of Pride month, we celebrated the LGBTQIA+ community and learned about the historic and ongoing challenges in the fight for acceptance and equality.
Following on from the success of last year’s celebration, we held our Pride Day event at our Buckfastleigh site where staff and students took part in a Colour Run and Slip n’ Slide!
The day ended with a BBQ lunch cooked in the outdoor kitchen and included some of the homegrown produce our students have been growing this term.
