This week was International Day of Democracy. At Devon School, we spent time learning about what democracy means, why it is important, and how it can impact our lives and the communities we live in. We explored the values of fairness, equality, and having a voice in decision-making.
To put what we learned into practice, we held our very own democratic vote to elect our new Student Council Representative. Everyone had the chance to cast their vote, and it was an exciting way to experience democracy in action.
