Here at Spring Hill School, it’s important that youngsters are able to understand that what is taught in the classroom can be evidenced in the real World!  This makes learning much more fun, accessible and meaningful to our students. 

Recently, our younger students had the opportunity to visit Birchfield Farm, a picturesque working farm nestled in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. 

The children had the opportunity to see the mixed farm in action and enjoyed meet, feed and pet a range of animals to enhance their learning.  Lots of fun was had, particularly as there were opportunities to play on the outdoor zip wire and go karts!
