A staff member from Cambian Scarborough School has recently started a Level 3 Open Awards in Forest School Training.
Forest School is an inspirational process that offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.
Starting from September our Key Stage 2 and 3 will spend a session per week in the local woodland focusing on six strands of learning:
• Art & Creativity
• Food & Cooking
• Map Making
• Shelter Building
• Flora & Fauna
• Whittling
