After the cricket match earlier this week, our teams returned to the field full of grit and determination for a rounders showdown.
Our Lufton Manor, Manor Fam, and The White Horse teams gave it their all - there were impressive catches, some very enthusiastic sprinting… and one unforgettable hit that sent the ball flying right over the top of the barn roof, to which we still can’t decide whether the player responsible should have been disqualified… or declared a Lufton Legend.
Somewhere amongst the excitement, the score count mysteriously disappeared.
One of the biggest cheers of the day was for the welcome arrival of the ice cream van.
