Lufton College was thrilled to offer some of our students a unique opportunity to participate in a hands-on workshop delivered by industry professionals from the National Youth Theatre, in partnership with Netflix.
The session gave students an insight into the often-unseen careers behind the scenes of film, theatre, and live events. They explored what it’s like to be on set, learning about different camera shots and production roles in a practical, engaging way.
A creative flair runs through Lufton College, and several students expressed an interest in pursuing careers in this field when discussing future options with our onsite job coach and independent careers advisor. This workshop is an extension of our Digital Enterprise curriculum, designed to showcase the wide range of opportunities available as students move into adulthood and aimed to boost students’ employability, confidence, and industry knowledge.
