From providing care and support to behaviour management and training, Foster Parents are valued for what they do
Foster Parents open their homes to a disadvantaged child or young person who is in need of temporary care. There may be a number of reasons why a child can no longer stay at home with their birth families but the role of the Foster Parent is to look after them in the meantime and provide them with a safe, secure and stable home whilst helping them to thrive and develop.
A Foster Parent should motivate and inspire a child to have a better family life and help to improve their self-esteem, make better life choices and go on to have a happy future.
