By Train

 

Yeovil Junction is situated about 5 miles from the College on the outskirts of the town.  It is served by fast trains on the London (Waterloo) to Exeter line.

 

Yeovil Pen Mill is situation about 3 miles from the College beyond the town centre.  It is served by a single line service from Bristol, Westbury and Weymouth.

 

From the Midlands & The North

 

Take the M5 South to Junction 25 (Taunton).  Take A358 sign-posted Ilminster until joining the A303 at Horton Cross roundabout.  Continue along A303 in an easterly direction, sign-posted Andover and London at the next roundabout go straight across (second exit).

 

From the A303 (Cartgate roundabout), take the A3088 towards Yeovil (third exit) and continue for about 4 miles turning left at the next roundabout sign-posted Houndstone & Lufton Trading Estates.  Turn left at the next roundabout (first exit) sign-posted Montacute and Odcombe, moving through a new housing estate area.  At the next roundabout continue straight across (second exit) and after 300 yards take the next right turn sign-posted to Lufton College of Further Education.

 

Continue down the lane for 400 yards and turn right into the grounds of the College. 

 

From London & the Home Counties

 

Take the M3 and A303 until Cartgate roundabout, junction A3088.

 

From the A303 (Cartgate roundabout), take the A3088 towards Yeovil (first exit) and continue for about 4 miles turning left at the next roundabout sign-posted Houndstone and Lufton Trading Estates.  Turn left at the next roundabout (first exit) signposted Montacute and Odcombe, moving through a new housing estate area.  At the next roundabout continue straight across (second exit) and after 300 yards take the next right turn sign-posted to Lufton College of Further Education.

 

Continue down the lane for 400 yards and turn right into the grounds of the college. 

 

From South Coast via A30

 

Take A30 into Yeovil until you reach the Kingston roundabout by the hospital and take the third exit sign-posted Bristol and Frome.  Follow the road until the next roundabout by Yeovil College and take the first exit onto Preston Road sign-posted Montacute and Odcombe.   At the end of Preston Road just past Asda take the first exit and at next roundabout take the third exit both sign-posted Montacute and Odcombe.

At the next roundabout continue straight across and after 300 yards take the next right turn sign-posted to Lufton College of Further Education. Continue down the lane for 400 yards and turn right into the grounds of the college.

 

 

From West Country via A30

 

Take A30 towards Yeovil past the White Post Garage (left hand side) and take the first exit at Bunford Hollow roundabout sign-posted Montacute and Stoke.  Follow the road down the hill until the next roundabout and take the first exit onto the Western Relief Road.  Follow the road until next roundabout and take second exit sign-posted Houndstone and Lufton Trading Estates. Follow the road until the next roundabout and turn left (first exit) sign-posted Montacute and Odcombe, moving through a new housing estate area. 

 

At the next roundabout continue straight across and after 300 yards take the next right turn sign-posted to Lufton College of Further Education. Continue down the lane for 400 yards and turn right into the grounds of the College.
