Students from Cambian Devon School had their first school football match against another school.
It was a 6 aside mixed game and was played at Totnes Leisure centre. The students had training sessions during break and lunch times and were looking forward to the game.
The game was played with amazing sportsmanship and determination by both sides. The students were able to work together showing good communication skills and encouraged each other, even when the opposition scored a couple of goals.
Devon School came away as the winners, 14-2 but the game was a success for both teams and we look forward to having more football matches and other team sport games in the future.
