A fabulous day was had by the whole Devon school community for the Marine Conservation Great British Beach Clean day on Elberry Cove in Torbay.
The sun was shinning and all students participated in the morning activity collecting any unnatural debris and rubbish left on the beach. After a picnic lunch the students engaged in a group competition exploring beach art in the style of the British artist Andy Goldsworthy.
Each house team was asked to create a sculpture using natural resources on the beach. House points were awarded for the most original, creative and cohesive team work. It was a very positive and fun day!
