Year 10 Devon School students visited the Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Plant Exhibition Centre in Cannington, Somerset.
They explored how electricity is generated, took part in interactive demonstrations on nuclear radiation safety, and had great fun dressing up as site workers. The day continued with a visit to the impressive bird hides at the nearby Steart Marshes salt flats, where they enjoyed their lunch while spotting egrets in the wild.
