On Friday 19th September, Cass Pollitt, CWC Principal, was invited to an informal discussion with the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson MP, during her visit to the constituency alongside a small group of local Educators by our local MP, Tom Hayes.
The meeting was held at Bournemouth Health Sciences University and included all invitees to have dedicated 1:1 time with Bridget discussing local and national issues relating to SEND Education. Cass said that the meeting was very interesting and it was great to have the opportunity to be involved in this level of discussion. The meeting opened up further discussions regarding local issues and Tom is currently organising regular meetings with local school leaders and Cass will be attending these to ensure that SEND continues to be at the forefront of discussions.
