The learner in Lilac Class has shown fantastic independence and creativity this week. He took full ownership of his Mother’s Day project, moving through the entire process from initial planning to the final writing with minimal adult support.

In addition to his thoughtful letter, he also composed an original colour poem. His ability to select descriptive vocabulary and structure his ideas autonomously is a wonderful achievement. It has been a pleasure to see his confidence grow as he translates his own ideas directly onto the page.
