On Friday 21st November, Tyldesley School welcomed Police Officers from GMP into school to speak to all pupils about the dangers and penalties of carrying a knife.
PCSOs Maria and Sam spoke to the children and delivered a quiz; it was very competitive and all pupils engaged well in their respective teams.
Maria sent a lovely email following the meeting commenting on how well the pupils behaved:
Jem and Team and Rubble
"I would like to send a big thank you to your pupils and staff today for making both myself and Rebecca welcome.
Their behaviour and attitudes were brilliant.
We will be back in the New Year for “STOP THE BLEED” training which I am sure they will love.
Don’t forget to send me photos for our web."
