This term, Tyldesley School have raised £170 for MNDA. We received this message from the charity:
On behalf of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association thank you for your donation. Your gift will help them improve the lives of people living with the disease and achieve their vision of a world free from MND, thank you.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a serious illness that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. It causes muscles to become weaker over time, making everyday things like walking, talking, or even breathing very difficult. There is no cure yet, but charities like the MND Association work hard to support people living with the disease and to fund research for a future without MND.
