To commemorate Remembrance Day, students in Purple Class created their own wreaths and collage poppies.
This creative activity helped them reflect on the significance of the poppy and the sacrifices made by service personnel. As part of a whole-school observation, the students respectfully participated in the one-minute silence at 11 am, a solemn moment for quiet reflection on the impact of war and the importance of peace.
Furthermore, to connect their classroom learning with their local community's history, the students visited their local war memorial, where they paid their respects to those who lost their lives in various conflicts.
