In anticipation of their upcoming GCSE examinations, Year 11 and 12 students recently visited The Octagon Theatre in Bolton for an exciting adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
This excursion provided a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of the play, directly supporting their GCSE English Literature studies.
The production’s modern twist resonated well with our pupils, who remained thoroughly engaged and inspired throughout the performance. We are confident that this first-hand experience of live theatre will prove instrumental as they prepare for their final assessments.
