Pengwern recently held its very own Eisteddfod, with one of the creative categories being, Welsh bridges in 3D.
One group of Art and pottery students decided to make the old stone bridge in Llanfair Talhaiarn. Using a mixed media approach and their imaginations, the group worked collectively to create a model of the bridge.
After the Eisteddfod, the group enjoyed a trip out to see the bridge in real life. The group excitedly discussed their thoughts about the project, enjoyed a picnic by the bridge and admired the lovely view.
