On Monday 13th October Tyldesley School had a visit from Greater Manchester Fire Service, with bonfire night looming they came to do a talk on fire safety.
They brought props, showed videos and spoke about real life scenarios, the students showed a massive interest in this and asked lots of questions. They learnt that a firework burns at 2000 degrees! They spoke about the importance of how to use and watch fireworks safely and to never go back to a firework after it has been lit.
They said they love seeing people have fun but we all must remember to be safe! The fire crew was very impressed with how polite, patient and inquisitive our students were! We had a great morning!
