This term has seen a really interesting series of assemblies, where our young people from the school have met local candidates for Labour, Liberal Democrats, UKIP, the Socialist Party and Conservatives.
Our visitors had the chance to talk about why they got into Politics and outline what their parties’ manifesto is addressing.
All the visitors have commented on how eloquent the students have been and what brilliant questions they have asked.
This has mirrored our own election where our young people have had the chance to choose and stand for their own chosen party and this will be voted on the same day as the UK general election taking place on 8 June 2017.
