Last Friday, student Ruby had a vaccination during her lunch time break. To begin with she wasn’t ready to have it done so the nurses went away to give her some time to relax. She was playing with her friends at lunch time when the nurses came back and tried again.
Ruby spoke about their jobs and how they help people and make people better. She agreed to have her injection and her friends went with her for moral support, and possibly to check out the size of the needle!!
It was a lovely moment to be part of and witness the moral support amongst the three students, they all praised Ruby for how brave she was and they all went off to lunch smiling! The immunisation team were fantastic and all threee of our young people did us proud!
