In July, Purbeck View school enjoyed 'Rainbow Day'. As parents and guests were unable to attend the Sports day this year, it was renamed to help our young people understand that things were a little different.
This year’s event was organised by our PE lead, Steve and one of our students, Marcus. Marcus has a passion for PE and was a model sports leader, encouraging his peers and celebrating every success.
In addition to the sporting events, Purbeck's Therapy Assistants set up a sensory play area and face painting was also available.
It was a delight to see our students participate so enthusiastically in the activities. The whole school haka, which started the morning was an amazing sight which inspired us all.
As wonderful as the morning was, our parents and local guests were missed and the hope is that next year we can welcome you all back, for what is always a favourite event of the school year.
