Scarborough School Mindfulness


This year lessons centring on Mindfulness have been added to the Cambian school timetable in line with PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Emotional education). These lessons are about exploring feelings and emotions, helping students to deal with them and feel better as well as focussing more deeply and noticing what’s going on around and inside us. Feelings are explored using a range of methods including, amongst other things, deep breathing techniques, yoga positions, gardening and taste testing sessions, mindfulness colouring exercises and personalised worksheets. All the pupils completed work is stored in their own personal files.
