Students Explore Warwick Castle

20.06.2022

At the end of last half term, students in year 10 and below went on a day trip to Warwick Castle. It was a wonderfully sunny day where they had the opportunity to go off in small groups to explore the castle and its grounds.

From the elegancy on the grand hall to the dizzy heights of the castle walls, everyone found something to enjoy. Many students on the trip chose to watch the Falconry show at midday, with an impressive array of birds of prey swooping down inches from their heads, this was certainly a highlight.

For some of our students, this will have been their first school trip in a long time, possibly ever and everyone got involved and made it a really special day to be a part of. All students managed the day well and were a credit to the school from the moment they left the schools grounds, until we were back in the afternoon.

We look forward to many more trips of this kind, where our young people can enjoy learning beyond the classroom!
