This week in PE, Wisbech Students looked at the importance of a ‘warm up’ and began to explore different ways to prepare for exercise, sport and activity.
They took part in a number of baseline tests to assess their coordination, agility and accuracy. Although this was about recording personal bests, it soon became clear that the students were becoming competitive and wanted to beat each other’s scores. They cheered each other on and gave tips on how to get the highest score.
In the coming weeks, Wisbech students will learn how to develop their coaching skills, motivation and confidence.
This is another aspect of Wisbech School's learning ladders and we would like to say well done to the students for being competitive and demonstrating sportsmanship!
