Cambian Home Tree School is an independent DfE-registered, co-educational day school which specialises in accomodating for students who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
The School caters for up to 20 students aged between 12-18 years of age and each classroom features different learning environments for alternative ways of learning. Individually tailored educational pathways are created to ensure each student's needs are met. The teaching team is supported by a multi-disciplinary team including psychologist, occupational therapist and therapeutic practitioners.
We teach the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and offer a range of qualifications from Functional Skills to completing GCSE's and A-Levels in a variety of subject at Key Stage 4 and 5.
Our School is purpose built to provide students with a safe and relaxing environment, which allows them to develop their social skills and expand their friendship circles. We also provide breakfast and lunch daily to all students.
For those who are unable to attend school an outreach program is offered. We also partner with external agencies to provide work related learning programmes.
Students who are approaching adulthood can benefit from pastoral support which focuses on teaching students how to manage finances and develop life skills to encourage independent living.
Typically students attending the School are settled within one of our residential provisions.
