“Jenny joins Cambian Potterspury Lodge with a portfolio of Leadership experience as a Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Education Consultant, and Local Authority Manager across Maintained, Independent, and Special Schools. Her recent leadership roles have included the successful removal of special measures in two schools who both went onto achieve Ofsted “Good” judgements in every category alongside Inclusion Manager for a London Council which involved working with 75 Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding Schools. As an alumni of Ambition Institute’s flagship Future Leaders scheme which trains School Leaders, Jenny strongly believes in ensuring that all students are enabled and encouraged to achieve their potential and develop individual gifts and talents.
As a former Sixth Form Leader Jenny is committed to ensuring that each individual is supported throughout their time at the school so that Cambian Potterspury Lodge students at Post 16 and Post 18 benefit from an individual tailored transition into Apprenticeships, Employment, and further Education placements in their communities. Jenny is resolute that strong CEIAG (Careers, Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance) for each individual throughout their time at Potterspury Lodge supports a successful pathway to adulthood and nurtures aspirations.”

Regional Education Lead
Lisa Lyon
As Regional Education Lead for the South AS team I have oversight of 5 schools and colleges of which Pottersbury Lodge School is one. I took up this role in September 2020 having previously worked for Cambian for 3 years as Headteacher of one of their Complex Trauma Schools. I have a long history of working in specialist settings starting over 15 years ago in a Local Authority run SEMH residential special school in Birmingham, first as Assistant Headteacher before moving onto Headship in a neighbouring authority. These roles have certainly brought their challenges, not least moving one school from inadequate to Good with outstanding features.
My experience has taught me the value of team work in creating environments in which children and young people can thrive and achieve the best outcomes allowing them to move on to the next stage of education, employment or training. I am passionate about school improvement and empowering staff to work creatively. I have a real drive to develop trauma informed practice in all of my schools and ensure that students are supported to learn in an environment where there needs are met and understood.
