Maths/PE Teacher

"Callum has a degree in secondary education with specialisms in PE. He has progressed to becoming Lead Teacher in Maths and also teaches PE. Callum said the following about his role at Cambian Somerset, 'I really enjoy my job and I hope that my enthusiasm in my subject areas can be transferred to the pupils. In my spare time I enjoy most sports in particular football and running'."

English Teacher

Lucy Vine

"Lucy has a degree in English language. Following time spent as a legal secretary she joined the school as an LSA and has since progressed to teaching key stage four English. Lucy said the following about her role at Cambian Somerset, 'my background is in English Language and Linguistics, and as part of my degree completed studies on students with Dyslexia, and tried to find out if there are preferable methods of improving their spelling and written work. I really enjoy encouraging creativity in students, and try to inspire them to think outside of the box. I’m an avid reader and try to read widely, but especially enjoy dystopian thrillers!'"
